21.2.4 High risk IT solicitations and contracts

Section 2.2-4303.01 of the Code of Virginia requires that all IT solicitations and contracts that meet the definition of “high risk” must include “clear and distinct” performance metrics and enforcement provisions, including remedies in the case that metrics are not met.

If your IT solicitation or contract meets the definition of “high risk” per § 2.2-4303.01(A), both the high risk IT solicitation and contract must be reviewed by VITA SCM Contract Risk Management.
