The 10th annual VITA Project Management Summit
The Virginia IT Agency (VITA) is pleased to announce the 10th annual VITA IT Project Management Summit is scheduled for Wednesday, November 1, 2023. The summit returns to an in-person event at the Nicholas Conference Center, located at Brightpoint Community College in Chester, Virginia.
This year's theme is “Thinking Outside the Box”.
Project Managers (PMs) are required to adapt and focus on new ways to manage their traditional tried-and-true project management processes to meet changing demands. To be successful, project managers need to be open to new skillsets and creative ways of thinking “outside the box.”
In addition to fostering creativity and innovation, thinking outside the box often results in new and improved ideas, products and services, and can lead to better problem-solving, increased productivity and more effective communication.
Please encourage the project managers in your agency to attend a day of networking and a variety of exciting educational opportunities. Registration is $100. The summit is open to state and locality staff only. Continuing education credits are offered.
